hey, i think this is a pretty good place to land if you’re in the hood. columbia city has good eats going now. i came for lunch and double dipped with a bowl of ramen and a bibimbap. yes, i managed to finish both, thank you. i think i should have just stuck with the ramen, which had a lot more noodles than i thought. the broth was good and there was a ton of pork belly in there. pretty dang tasty. i was less enamored with the bibimbap it seemed less put together and more disjointed. my egg wasn’t gooey enough either. it needs to ooze out onto the rice and it was cooked a little too hard. still, a good landing place.

Tasty. We love to sit at the sushi bar and watch the chef prepare our sushi rolls. The best part of this restaurant is the friendly sushi chef who calls us by name every time we visit (and he seems to do the same for all repeat diners).

Sushi ranges from okay to super delicious. Ask the waiter for suggestions. Atmosphere accommodates couples and families alike. We loved the Saigon Tuna, Bad Attitude, and Rainier rolls. Volcano was also great but a bit too lemony. I’ve had other rolls here that were also good, but these have been the best so far.

Delicious!!. What a place! Menu is unique with plenty of traditional Japanese entrees and Sushi items. Love the Poke Maki and my Loco Moco was excellent! Will definitely come back and check out other dishes. So this Sushi joint have influences of Hawaiian & Korean food as well. Happy hour is great! good cocktails, I recommend the Mango Ginger Margarita!Cheers Columbia City Folks!

Very good happy hour. A co-worker and I stopped by for happy hour this evening. She had the ginger-lime margherita, which was delicious. I had the house sake, which was average. I thought they had a great range of above-average food choices for good prices on the happy hour menu, however. I had several kinds of nigiri, which were all $3 each per order of 2 pieces, and were very good. The scallop was my favorite. We shared some edamame and some excellent yam fries, though I thought the wasabi dipping sauce could have used more wasabi. And my co-worker ordered a very nicely cooked salmon collar, which came with an excellent sauce on the side for I think about $5. Our total bill for everything came to about $40…you can’t beat that! And their service was above-par. I will definitely go back.

Just had a great dinner! Very flavorful and fresh. Service was good and price reasonable. Ambiance was perfect for families or a date. Two thumbs!

Sake Craze. I like the place, the ambience is very nice. Loves the food, especially the sushi. We ate at the bar, the sushi chefs were very good, we tried Ono Nigiri and it was very fresh! Tried out the pear sake tini and loved it. Can’t say anything wrong with the place, service was very friendly, price was good and we had a great time! We’ll be back soon with more friends now that we know the food is good!
