We usually come here for their handmade noodles. There’s a good selection of lamb dishes and noodles. The noodles were cooked just right, with a little bit of chewiness. The sauces were a little salty, so is the soup, but the flavor was reasonable.
Most Chinese restaurants in the greater Seattle area are mostly Cantonese and Szechuan, with a few Taiwanese options. So, it is refreshing to find this relatively new establishment Miah’s kitchen serving Xian dishes. There are many noodle dishes, and also lamb dishes on the menu.We had this amazingly tender lamb dumpling with thin and soft wrapping in a sour soup. Very delicious.A cumin flavored beef sandwich was interesting. The bread/pastry part of the sandwich was very pasty and dense, even though it was not thick. I was not a fan of it, but I did not know if that was authentic? The meat itself was tender and spicy.Lastly, we shared a noodle with 2 sauces, one with tomato and egg, the other a special pork sauce with chopped vegetables. The noodles itself was very good: Got a nice chew and bounce to them. The sauces were ok, nothing special. doofniks.com
