My wife and I are new to the area. We were looking for a great breakfast and found it at palmers. No frills but a great breakfast with friendly service in a bar atmosphere.
Divey & Delicious. Some friends and I decided to go for some bloodies and breakfst/brunch this morning and decided to give Palmer a try. I’ve been to Palmers to watch sporting games, have a few drinks, and play pull tabs…but never for breakfast/brunch. SUPER good choice! the menu was pretty extensive considering it is definitely a dive bar..tons of bar food, salads, sandwhiches…and a great looking breakfast menu. The boys got biscuits and gravy and the breakfast burrito..both of which were incredible! I started off with an extra spicy bloody mary (which hit the spot) and got the mile high club with turkey, no mayo and no cheese but extra bacon..and wow! I am THE biggest fan of bacon and a triple decker sandwich…especially if it comes with curly fries that are definitley carnival style. Perfect place for a sunday cure from the weekend!! Oh..and the fact that I won $48 from a $20 pull tab buy in was the icing on the cake 🙂
Great food, strong drinks & a laid back atmosphere. Perfect for this hole-in-the-wall bar.
If you want bar food, in a less than classy atmosphere this is your spot. If I was drinking, I’d probably eat here, but that’s after a few!
