We dined at Sages for the first time tonight. It is a cozy, very small restaurant, but we enjoyed visiting with our friends there and could hold a conversation easily. The food was A+. My husband chose the special of the night lobster ravioli – it was fantastic. I chose the Angel Prawns, which was also excellent. The service was very good as well. We will definitely return.

This little corner place is a must! It’s not only a cosy, friendly place to spend your evening at but the food makes you feel at home. ‘Rustic Italian’ is what they call it, but you’re got to see how fine the plating is. We went for a bruschetta for the starter. And the Bart’s signature chicken, Chicken Gorgonzola and Wife’s favourite Pasta. Their signature chicken really tops the list though! The goat cheese really melts in your mouth along with a little crush of the spinach, you absolutely cannot miss the sauce with it. For desserts, if you’re willing to try them all and the entrees have filled you up, go for the sampler. The decadence chocolate with raspberry is the star though!

Long wait and poor food. We just came home after dining at Sages and it was the first and last time we will go there. The staff was nice but we waited more than an hour for our main courses and when they arrived none of us liked them. My husband was starving so he ate his even though his chicken was dry and chewy. Our two children and I went home hungry

Enjoyable dinner. I really enjoyed my dinner at Sages. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was well prepared. I will go back!

Good but growing stale. Sages has offered a unique dining experience in Redmond for a while now, and perhaps that’s the problem. Our family loves Chef Bart’s Tomato soup, the different raviolis, and the pork tenderloin with apples and onions in a port sauce. Unfortunately, after a while, even this can grow a little stale. The service is always great, presentation quite nice, and the food always comes out hot and fresh. The sauces are reach and flavorful, and the meats are cooked to perfection. Sure, the Chef offers one or two specials each evening, and they are generally quite good, but it is time to offer some major changes to the menu. We would love to keep coming back, but without some variety, then perhaps we’ll just visit once every year or so to give the illusion of variety. If you are looking for consistent quality of European-style food, Sages is the place to go. If you’re looking for a regular place, the lack of variety might be a hindrance.
