We decided to try Korean food at Stone for lunch, we haven’t been there for a long while. The service this time was prompt, and the waiters automatically refilled our hot tea, so we were pleasantly surprised. We decided to have vegetarian only. Compared to last year, the food was noticeable better. We had kimchi tofu soup, and tofu bimbop hotpot.
Menu not up to date charging for 1000ml and receiving 750ml of rice wine. Kim chi not free $4 even when ordering a whole chicken and forgot to bring the radish. Our check was delivered half way through our meal (@7:30pm) even though it was not busy. Rude basic manners absent. Not a fussy couple we never write reviews just very disappointed. Oh yeah chicken was greasy.
Very good food! Rich deep flavored in the kimchi beef tofu soup. Very creamy broth was quite good. The side dishes or banchan was also good. The stone pots kept the food hot during the entire meal. Will definitely come back for more.
Food is quite good. However, it’s fairly overpriced and extremely slow when even slightly busy. Took over 25 mins to get a simple bulgolgi order. Basically missed lunch altogether. Absolutely unacceptable.
Very, very good mix of rice, vegetables and beef. A special sauce is made just for this dish. Served with many side dishes as well.
