Hit and miss. The drinks were good. The braised pork was good. The service was good. The chicken Rojas enchiladas could have come out of a boxed frozen dinner.

Have been here several times. Really cool place to hang out with friends! The atmosphere is lively, service is quick. The Margaritas are Superb!. I had the chipotle mushrooms and Grilled Stuffed Jalapeos. They were Yum. This place is conveniently located behind Redmond town Center a2 min walking distance from Redmond Residence Inn and Marriot. Will go again!

Bartender and hostess were rude. I asked if I could sit on the patio with my daughter who is 18 and they refused to serve us. We don’t even drink alcohol. I would never recommend an establishment like this to another individual. The manager of this restaurant needs to find another occupation as this is not his cup of tea.

Eat HERE!. I was here for a wedding but happy to have eaten here 4 times during my stay. $5 happy hour specials. Everything was amazing, and large portions. I would recommend the steak tacos. Drinks were also nice and strong. I wish I lived closer. I may just come back to visit, just for this place!

No babies welcome even outside at lunch. The hostess explained our 3 month old couldn’t join us bc matador is technically a bar, not a restaurant and it was Washington state law. Really? I think she didn’t have the guts to say it was managements policy. Went back another night – wasted a baby sitter. Really loud music, hard to talk. Had chicken soup and needed a knife to eat it, large chunks of chicken tortilla and avocado would not for in a soup spoon. It was so-so, wouldn’t order again. Waste of a date night, great place if you want to eat ok tex-mex in a nightclub.

Not Good. Last night I was looking forward to meeting my son for dinner. I had only heard good things about this restaurant and their food, so had high expectations. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with my only experience eating there. The first thing that I wasn’t comfortable with was the extreme noise as soon as I walked in. I met my son to catch up with his life as I haven’t seen him in a while. I couldn’t hear him clearly when we were across each other with a 2′ table between us. So, I understood quickly that I had picked the wrong place to have a conversation with him. Giving up on that, I was very hungry and excited to at least have a good meal. I ordered the Beef Medallions with mashed potatoes and brocollini. As I said, it was very busy, crammed actually and so it took quick a while to get our food. During that wait we were not asked once if we wanted another beer and kept trying to flag down our waitress, who was very pleasant but running around like crazy trying to get to all her customers. They were obviously very understaffed on the Thursday night we were there. Unfortunately, when we got our food, I was very disappointed. The meat was not hot and was overcooked to the point of being tough and hard to chew. The potatoes were also cold and bland. There was no seasoning on anything except the chilis that were in the sauce and they were horribly spicy hot. The bill came to $60 for 2 crappy cold dinners and 2 beers. I threw away the left-overs, which is saying a lot! Definitely won’t be eating there again.
