Best Family Lunch Stop in Town. Friendly and fast service and good food. The BEST place in town if you’re out and about and need a quick but delicious lunch. Kid friendly (seriously 5 minutes or less from when you order until you’re served) and low prices. Best family lunch spot in Richland. A nacho lover’s dream BTW!

Fast, cheap and great!. Tried this place because of good reviews and soooo impressed. Super fast service. 4 minutes from ordering to eating! Food is hot and fantastic. I got a taco, chalupa and enchiladas. All were great. I sat down after ordering and they mediator brought be hot chips, salsa and beans promptly followed by my meal. Will be coming back with whole family. Prices are great and can feed all my kids for a great price!

I’m an afficionado. The way in which Mexican food is prepared varies incredibly, and I’ve found that what some customers find to be excellent others believe to be horrible. I’ve eaten at Mexican restaurants all over the country (probably 40-45 states) and I’ve never eaten Mexican that I like as well as Chapala. I unfortunately started eating at Chapala Express immediately after it opened (at least 15 years ago) and it ruined me–I compare everywhere else to Chapala and i’ve always been disappointed. The people are fantastic–the only complaint I’ve ever had is that the service is often too quick (doesn’t give you time to enjoy the salsa and beans). This is one of the few Mexican restaurants that serve pork dishes (the pork burritos and chilie rellenos are incredible!) I don’t live in the TriCities any more, but I drive 300 miles out of my way to have lunch at CHapala.

99% of the time very good food, good price, friendly prompt service. Plus, I like the fact that you select and pay as you come in. This let’s you get up and go immediately when you are ready! Why don’t other restaurants do this?

I used to like this place but today it was horrible. Meat had no flavor watered down, rice not even warm dry. Very disappointed and front service was rude seems like she thought you were wasting her time.

Great food for a great price. I have to say, I’ve been eating at chapala express for at least 5 years now, and have not one time been dissatisfied with food or service. If you want great food but don’t want to pay sit down prices, this is your place. More of a lunch place than a dinner place. Although my wife is picking up Chapala to-go as we speak. Atmosphere is the only thing lacking here, but so what? the food is awesome!
