Hands down my favorite place to eat. The staff is friendly, the food is flavorful and flawless. Service is fast, and the resturant is very clean. Pho is delicious, and the Laab is outstanding! Honestly there isnt a dish i have tried that i havent liked. The prices are are great too, which is always a plus for such delicious food. I would eat here everyday if i could.

After walking out of a nearby Thai restaurant that was so bad we could barely start our meal, much less finish it, we tried Lao Kitchen with zero prior knowledge. I get a bit nervous trying new restaurants without researching first, but to our delight the staff was friendly, and the food was fresh and quite tasty! We ordered Pad Thai and Yakisoba and both were hot and delicious. The bean sprouts and other greens on top were fresh and crunchy, and the noodles hot and firm in just the right way. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to order, with good flavor that didn’t rely on spicy (more on that below). We were nearing closing time, but they welcomed us in and we didn’t feel pressured to eat fast and leave. Seemed like it was owned/operated by a family, which was good by me as I like supporting local businesses and people who are directly involved in their restaurants and operating them with care. I appreciated that they didn’t asked ‘how many star’ on every order! I get sick of being asked that for every single dish at some places when not all dishes are supposed to be spicy just because it’s Asian cuisine! That said, next time I’ll be getting something spicy as they’ve passed the first test and managed to produce 2 dishes full of flavor independent of be being drown in spiciness.Menu was diverse, and small by most standards, but in a good way as it seemed there was something for everyone and didn’t have so many dishes that it would become unmanageable and quality would suffer. This will be our go-to spot in Richland when we’re craving Asian, and hopefully for years to come!
