Thank you friend for a wonderful lunch :). Today was a special day for our friend Betsy. She is retiring at age 66 after lots of years working. To celebrate this accomplishment our friend Julie and I took Betsy to lunch. We had the shrimp & salmon salads and Julie had the roasted chicken with blueberries. It was simply wonderful. For dessert we picked the cheese cake with fresh raspberries another great choice. The best thing happened some gentleman who was sitting near us paid our lunch tab without saying a word! What a sweet thing to do for 3 hard working ladies! To keep paying it forward I gave my lunch money to Julie for her daughter, Lani’s kindergarden class supplies. See how kindness can flow like the Columbia with a little bit of effort. Thanks Sterlings and our mystery friend – God Bless you and keep you in his grace.

Bring back old menu. My husband and I were in for dinner and found out the menu had changed. We liked the old menu better. One of the only places in the Tri-Cities that had so many choices.
Came here for the salad and soup bar with my boyfriend and his visiting brother for lunch one day. The salad bar had fresh greens but all the toppings either came from a can or were of very low quality grocery store lunch meat product. The navy bean soup and the clam chowder were delicious. I tried a cheesy vegetable soup and all I could taste was Velveeta and rancid red bell pepper. Incredibly unimpressed and I definitely wouldn’t choose to come back here. If I did have to come back to this place I would stay away from the salad bar but I would be way too overwhelmed by the gigantic menu. Its just not good either way.
I’ve been to various Sterlings locations around tri town over the years, and my impression has always been pretty positive. They have an excellent and fresh salad bar, which I highly recommend (in fact, its the reason I visit usually).The service is almost always attentive and friendly enough. Alas, if I were to find fault with things here, it is definitely their HUGE, overdone menu. They’ve got so much on the menu it reads like a novel. Like other reviews have pointed out, they do 700 different things, but have truly mastered none.Also, I tend to feel like the prices are a bit high for the portion size. Perhaps if they shaved their menu down and focused on perfecting dishes I’d order off the menu more often. Until then, this is a good spot for a tasty salad bar.

GOOD EATS!!!. Everytime I take my family there, my kids enjoy the atmosphere & the food. My husband & I are impressed with how they grill the steak…always perfection when it comes to our table. We’ll continue to be repeat patrons to this restaurant.
