Bad Mouthing Manager. I had the crab fettachine and my husband had the hot roast beef. How disappointing they both were. The cheese sauce was soupy and so much of it I could hardly find the noodles. Absolutely tasteless. The hot roast beef had three bites of beef, smothered in too much gravy with 2 thin slices of bread. No mashed potatoes or anything else. When talking to the manager about this he informed me that is how it is made in New York. He’s from N Y and there is nothing wrong with the food or the amount given. Ahhh, sorry Pal you’re not in NY you are in WA state. I was not looking for a fight but he sure was and made it pretty clear. We won’t be back after being treated like criminals.
Sad experience. I happened to meet one old friend from far away today and was around this place so went in to dinner. The service was good until food came in. First, my friend said the stake was dry and though they got the wrong type. The manager came in and said: I am sorry. But you ate it already. You got to pay for it!!Then I found that my meshed potato was over MICROWAVED and dried out on the bottom. You still gonna pay for you ate is still the answer I got from the manager. It was a very sorry experience for my friend and me. I will never go in again even this is very close to my house.
Too late. Went to have a nice dinner with my husband and two kids, (age 1 and 3). We were cheerfully greeted by 4 or 5 young adults. Seated. We entertained our two kids as long as we could, they were getting very restless, and we hadn’t even gotten to place our order. After waiting at least 20 minutes for the waitress to come back we left. Our kids would not have lasted. Apparently our waitress forgot about us. As we were leaving we saw her walking from a corner where there was a young man she seemed more interested in then taking our order. Very disappointing for my first time to Sterlings.

FANTASTIC! Had the Filet Mignon, it was cooked perfectly. Nice potato and salad. We both ate for less than one at Cedars the meal & the service FAR superior! Lovely new resturant, a bonus for the area! Bravo!
Food OK, TVs Not So Much. We had good service and good food on our first trip to this Sterlings, but the 3 large screen TVs were all tuned to the Fox News Channel. I don’t want a hardcore, political sales job during my meal. It spoiled an otherwise nice environment. Why not skip the politics and display a slide show of nature photos from Washington State? People who want politics with their french fries can get it at home.
Not as good as the one on G Way. We’ve gone to the Sterlings on G Way in Richland several times. I like the salad bar. So we went to try the new one on Queensgate. Sadly, the salad bar is smaller. There is not as much variety as the other Sterlings. There was less fruit (no kiwis or melon), no hard boiled eggs of any kind, no bacon bits, no cauliflower. They still had the same grainy chocolate pudding though. Seriously, can’t you make your pudding creamy? Or just buy some Kozyshack to put out?Other than that is was okay but I was hungry not long after. Not enough protein without the eggs.
