Rod’s Lamlighter Cafe. Yes, it has been there forever! So what. It’s right out of history so to speak! No, it’s not the least bit fancy. It’s like finding some place in the boon docks of a southern state. But you don’t have to worry about being dressed up. Especially if your at the beach to do a work weekend in the yard or clamming. The food is good, big selection, filling and the service is good. Reasonable prices. They have a nice looking bar(haven’t used).

I had the ham n eggs breakfast with hashbrowns and toast. The food was great and th portions large. The breakfast ws a good value.
Worst Prime Rib. Last SAturday night, 10/10/09, I was served the worst cut of beef I’ve ever had. Prime rib at that. Was BULL I’m sure, not kidding!
