Applebee’s At 134th Pl.. Absolutely one of the worst cooks around on Sunday nights.asked for side of cooked cabbage.uncooked when I got home.just through it in styrofoam and called it good.this is not the only time this bad cooking has happened.avoid this place at all costs unless you want drinks.
Still dont care to get it right. I had not been back to this Applebees in a year or so. I quit going because the food was wrong about 75% of the time.I went there with my daughter a couple of weeks ago and ordered their Shrimp & Parmesan, just to try it again. I had had this dish at another Applebees and found the scampi sauce & shrimp was good. As before this place got it wrong. There wasn’t any scampi sauce but rather some clear liquid that the steak floated in with several shrimp laying on the side of the steak. It meal was just okay. I thought Id try it one more time to be sure. Today I went with my wife and daughter and I ordered the signature sirloin with garlic shrimp in a light cream sauce. My daughter ordered the zesty Roma chicken and shrimp. Her dish came without the chicken which we had to inform the waitress about. She said yep, it looked like something was missing. By the time the waitress came with the chicken breast I had found out that my vegetables and potatoes were cold. Not just lack of hot but truly cold. In addition the light cream sauce was missing and again there were several shrimp luck warm lying in the clear liquid. I told the waitress. She said that she would bring me some hot vegetables. I was finished with the steak by the time the hot micro waved veggies showed up. They were hot but mush from the micro wave. The manger making the rounds asked if we enjoyed our dinner and I explained about the cold veggies arriving after I was done eating. I forgot to mention the chicken dish without the chicken. I did not even try to talk about the sauce, they didn’t get it the last time I tried to explain that there was no sauce. She came back with a card for our next visit (I am not sure what the card was offering). I said thanks but I would not need it because I would not be coming back again for another year or so to see if they finally cared to get it right. If ever a place needed an Applebees secret quality control customer, this is the place!
