(Perhaps unfairly) disappointed. To be fair, I think Five Guys was set up for failure (to me, anyway) from the start due to having been over-hyped. I grew up in Southern California and I am a diehard, foaming-at-the-mouth devotee of In-n-Out Burger. The problem with Five Guys, which isn’t exactly their fault, is that I’ve read, and been told, waaaay too many times that Five Guys burgers are just as good as In-n-Out burgers. Sadly, they aren’t. They’re not bad burgers, don’t get me wrong. They’re not bad at all – they are as good as, or better than, pretty much any fast food burger I’ve had around here. I’d rate them as being about on par with Kidd Valley, which is good. And Five Guys does have good french fries (the fries actually do beat In-n-Out’s fries). But the burgers don’t hold a candle to In-n-Out. My trip to Five Guys just left me wishing (for about the thousandth time) that In-n-Out would expand into Washington.

The meat done!!. Ate at Five guys burger and fries. I will be back. The meat was lean and done. Beats dick’s in edmonds and seattle. Fries a very large helping even ordered regular. The only toppings for the burgers I didn’t see was chilie, avocado and cream cheese. Free refills on drinks. $4,89 for a burger, fries and drink. No skimping either.

Good show! Watched this place as it was built and excited to try out a new neighborhood burger spot. we came in the first week it opened and it was crowded! But the offering of peanuts made standing in line less tedious and it was fun watching the other people. only a few items on menu made selection easy. The meat was very tasty, unlike most fast food. lots of fries. My husband and I enjoyed the whole experience. We’ve been back many times when in the mood for sloppy burgers and lots of noisy friendly people. Not exactly date night, but that isn’t why we go. It’s worth the experience!

Boring burgers. I’m really not that picky about my burgers. Usually at worst I’ll call a burger decent but not something to rave about. I in general at least like burgers that restaurants make (it’s a great fallback dish for me at a place cause I most likely will like it).I’ve never had such a *bland* burger. I wouldn’t even consider the burger decent, it was plain boring! You could barely taste the meat at all as it had no taste. The fries didn’t redeem the place either. They were a little better but definitely nothing to write home about.I won’t be back. If you want a tasty burger try Blazing Onion. Even Red Robin or Fatburger would be a much better place to go to. I’m so disappointed cause this place was 5 minutes from me and I so wanted to have a place I loved to eat that close to me (I really did want to like them. I think that’s why I’m so upset about how disappointed I am).

Not impressed. I was really excited to try Five Guys, but am sorry to say I wasn’t that impressed.Pros: very good & generous serving of fries, pretty quick serviceCons: way too noisy for me, tables way too close together, and mostly – burgers lacked flavor – I know I chose my own condiments, but the burger itself didn’t seem seasoned
