Great Chinese. We have been dining at The Golden House since 2000. It’s the best Chinese cuisine. The only place I will have sweet n sour pork because they use pork loin and not a mystery meat. Great healthy food Nd no MSG. It’s our monthly treat.

One of our favorite restaurants. Great food and good prices. Family operation, with a warm, friendly atmosphere.

The food was excellent. The owner whose name I believe was Cat was so sweet. I had the triple kung pao with hot and sour soup. Yummy!

Golden House Chinese = Bronze House??. Well, unbeknownst to us, we had an intense hankering for Chinese food on what turns out to be Chinese New Year. After leaving the place we usually eat at (Taster’s Wok) because of a VERY FULL restaurant, came here to Golden House. While busy, there were SEVERAL empty tables and at least 3 or 4 servers that we could count. To be honest, not so busy that each of our dishes literally came 10 minutes apart from each other. We had the family dinner starting with soup, egg rolls, & BBQ pork which all came in fair time. But then it went downhill waiting for the main courses. While the food was OK (Mongolian beef was, admittedly, delicious), it was beyond annoying to wait a space of approx 10 minutes between each entree. Our chow mein came first, and we completely finished it before our BBQ pork fried rice came (while the server just left it on our table and kept going). Again, nearly finished that before our General’s Chicken came, and then finally the Mongolian beef. It was clear there was some confusion with our order in the kitchen — tables around us mysteriously got their food BEFORE US (and at the same time — not waiting 10 minutes between each dish) but they arrived AFTER US. Eventually we did get all our food, and it was what we ordered, and it was hot, so no complaints with that. It was just the fact the food was so slow to be served. At that point, the restaurant was emptying out and the tables that were there before us had been served. I forgot to add, when we got there the server (hostess?? Who knows…) asked how many people in our party (2) and took us to our seat — or so we thought — but she stopped to serve/take order at another table, and a confused worker took our menus to a table who had already ordered, rather than seating us (who now were awkwardly standing next to a vacant, but unset, table). We then got seated at the unset table, despite a fully-set table nearby that was not reserved. This was not that big a deal really, but, not a good first impression.Lastly (or firstly, since this happened at the beginning when the server set our table), my ‘clean’ fork that the lady gave me had a dried piece of food on it (not clean), and she tried fervently to rub the dried food off with MY NAPKIN AT THE TABLE, until she realized the food wasn’t coming off (it was very well dried on there) and went off to get a new fork. I mean, as somebody who has worked in the food service industry I would have just grabbed a new, clean fork in the first place. It was just another bad impression on me, but at the very least I did get a clean fork in the end, thank goodness. So to summarize this long-winded review: I am sure on any other night it could still be busy and service might be equally unsure. It could have just been an off night, it was our own fault for not realizing it was Chinese New Year. But, when it is such a big holiday you would think they’d staff the restaurant better to make up for the fact it would be obviously be busier than usual. Food was tasty, so I can’t complain about that… BUT, not so good that I’d go back anytime soon and risk the same unsure service.

Great Value. This place always hits the spot, whether its the beef chow mein, or monglian beef. the place is always good, we have never actually eaten inside, we always pickup so i cant vouch for the service but the difference in this place and other chinese places is the meat. Every meal with meat is packed with it, it seems like whenever you order mongolian beef somewhere, there 3 times as many onions as meat. Not at this place, the food is great and is a great value. OMG dont forget to try the honey walnut prawns!

Great lunch spot for the Everett aircraft crowd. Fast, friendly, and the food is great. Try the Mongolian Beef… they spice mine up a bit for a zestier ‘heat’.

Very friendly owners, welcoming. Great egg drop soup.
