Distinct Taste, Filling Food. After a few visits, Pasteur’s Pho is really good. Not only is it filling, but it seems to have a flavor that gives it a distinction to other Pho restaurants. The Pho is loaded with whatever you ordered in it whether it be meatballs, steak, or brisket. The steak tastes excellent. The bowls of soup come with the usual toppings of bean sprouts, herbs, and lime. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are also a delicious treat and unique to many palette’s in the U.S. who have maybe never tried this type of sandwich. Pasteur’s even warms up to soft, yet crispy bread. The center ingredients are very fresh tasting and overall make a very pleasureful experience. Prices are average to other Pho restaurants, if not slightly higher to about mid $7’s for a small (big portioned bowl) or nearing $9 for a large bowl. Prices can be steep, but you get what you pay for. Vietnamese sandwiches are a good value on their menu. The staff seem to be friendly and the interior is nicely pieced together giving it an almost upscale feel, despite it’s location in a South Everett strip mall. If you happen to be in the area and want to be warmed up on a cool northwest day, Pho from this restaurant will warm you up.
The best Vietnamese Restaurant i have ever had. My Vietnamese friend took me to Pastures 11 years and I have nothing but great things to say about it. I visit this place 2-3 times a week. I have tried several different Vietnamese restaurant’s and have tried Pho time and time again and none of them stand up to Pastures!! The owners are wonderful people and always greet me so nicely. I have tried many things on their menu and I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this place to anyone that likes Vietnamese food and especially their PHO. The broth is the best I have ever had. My fav menu option is 2P spicy pho with pho tai, prawns, spicy oily pepper sauce and peanuts. Also their grilled pork springs rolls are amazing!! So even if you are not fond of Pho I recommend you stop by and try something off their menu!! 🙂
Good food, bad experience. We have been long time customers and stopped by for dinner tonight and ordered two bowls of Pho soup. I was due a free soup, had my stamp card filled up. When I went to pay, the bill was totaled up for the full amount, and five dollars was taken off the bill, not the full price of one soup (around 6.95). I was charged tax for the full amount for both bowls of soup, and when I gave the waitress money to pay for the soup she put the full amount of money in the till and walked away without giving me change back. When I asked her for the change I was given the incorrect amount. The male waiter came over and tried to explain why I was charged the way I was. He told me it had always been done that way, which has not been the case in the past. He finally understood that the amount given back was incorrect and gave me the right amount of money back. I love the food here and understand having new employees, but the experience was pretty weird.
Bahn mi and the shrimp and pork roll appetizer were great! But the pho was a little disappointing and the service was bizarre. They brought out my boyfriend’s bahn mi, then the cook made the manager’s lunch, THEN made my pho, a total of about a ten minute delay. Very bizarre. Apparently the manager was more important to cook for than the paying customer…
Pho is wonderful!. I love this place the people are so kind and the food rocks! Don’t miss out on this gem!
The best!. Hubby and I just moved to town and Pasteur’s is right down the road. The first week we tried Pasteur’s, we went again 4 more times within seven days. It’s THAT good. Being Asian myself, I’m an Asian food junkie and pho is a requirement in my life, but Pasteur’s pho is the best I have ever had. The broth is perfect, you don’t even have to add anything to it. There are tons of different meats to try from and the vegetables that accompany the dish are always fresh. Their menu is also very diverse for the not-pho-lovers, which is great for my all-American-apple-pie-country husband. Along with the amazing food, I have yet to be disappointed with the service. Everyone there is always so nice and accommodating.
The % was good so I stopped in. It was 10:30am and the were busi. Waitress was quick and very friendly. If I lived closer id be here daily.
