Willing to give it another try… but later.. We love Snoqualmie Ice Cream, so when we were vaguely in the neighborhood today, we stopped by the cafe following the remodeling. Not sure if it was understaffed, if the staff was really new, or if the staff just wasn’t prepared for the crowds on the first gorgeous day of spring, but we were disappointed. There were four people trying to run the window and counter, and it was clear that they didn’t have anyone assigned to one particular station. It was chaotic. The line was about 15 people long and took about 20 minutes to get through. The woman working the register had us indicate which types of ice cream we planned to order, then three different people took parts of our order. There was also clumsy handling of a group order in front of us – it took about ten minutes to process their order, with the main customer hovering, calling out reminders about the order, and blocking other people in line.We arrived at 3:45 on Sunday, by which time the cafe was out of vanilla ice cream (used as a base for numerous menu items) and brownies, so both my husband and I had substitutions in our sundaes that made them subpar. The workers were obviously frazzled, with one poor woman visibly frustrated and trying not to snap at coworkers.I’d like to go back and give them a second chance, but I think I’ll just enjoy the ice cream in pints from the grocery store for now. On the other hand, if you go, definitely stop by their mini-farm out back. It’s a great little operation with a good deal of interesting information on how different parts of the farm contribute to their final product and how they plan to develop the campus.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Tried 8 choices of ice cream, liked every one! Place has charm, thought it was worth the trip from Olympia.Bottom line – I’ll be back when there’s new flavors. Get the anise flavor!

Green Tea, lavender, and chocolate oh my!. There is something to be said about making things in small batches. I am an ice cream addict and I have found a local creamery that knows its stuff. My first experience with Snoqualmie Gourmet Ice Cream was wandering the frozen section of Uwajimaya and I eyed the Green Tea ice cream. Now, here’s some back story on why I try Green Tea: personal pet peeve is vanilla ice cream that is green that is called Green Tea or if it tastes strangly like bubble gum. I purchased my cold treat and took the first bite, pure creamy matcha goodness. I found my new go to ice cream and am looking forward to trying every flavor they have from lavender to a classic chocolate.Teresa Potter

This is a great place! The ice cream is fantastic and the owners are very friendly. I highly recommend it.

Better than Molly Moon’s. Bought their Island Coconut and Caramel Ginger Snap flavors at Whole Foods and was instantly hooked. Just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess – just don’t read their nutrition labels too carefully! Their store is charming and has other flavors not sold in supermarkets. If you are in the area, definitely worth a stop.

You could buy it at the store but come here for other flavors they don’t carry. I’m eating Mojito Sorbet today. It’s worth a trip and less than 1 mile from the freeway.

Incredible Flavors!. Snoqualmie Gourmet is fantastic! The ice cream plant and parlor and designed to be environmentally-friendly. They use very high quality and locally grown ingredients. They have tons of exotic, unique, and mouthwatering flavors! This is definitely a must! If you don’t want to make the drive, their ice cream is sold in certain stores so you just definitely buy some!
