I stopped by this restaurant because of the other reviews and it sounded interesting. When I arrived the place was busy, but I was quickly seated. The restaurant does overlook a horse training arena, but there were no horses this evening. The restaurant is behind glass and the smell of the arena was minimal in the dining area. Not sure if the restaurant is pet friendly, but one of the guests had three french bulldogs that kept walking back and forth in the restaurant off leash following their owners.The service was friendly and attentive, but the food was disappointing. I wanted the prime rib, but they were out, so I ordered the RRR steak cooked medium. It was closer to well done. It was very dry and tasted burnt. The garlic mash potatoes were lukewarm to cool very dense not creamy and didnt have much flavor. The vegetables were undercooked. Definitely not worth $23.
The Food and the atmosphere is what make this a destination restaurant. I love being there all times of the year. Fall is beautiful with all the natural northwest beauty. Christmas decor is fantastic and the food is always good.
The only thing I can say is come check this place out. Beautiful ranch, awesome restaurant decor (make sure you walk around and check out the furniture at the far end), delicious food, fun view!
