Great Grill. Fantastic place to go on a date. We were lucky to catch a belly dancing floor show one night, really cool. Excellent food and great service. Full bar with generous beers. Haven’t had a bad meal here and we’ll keep coming back.Update: Excellent Greek Salad! I forgot how good this is. Tried the curry and lamb kebab, very good! Today they brought in fresh organic peaches that were featured in some of the drinks…Peach Mojitos! I could of sat there and drank fresh peach mojitos all evening, what a great drink on a Summer evening. Highly recommended! The service is top notch, probably some of the best around. Lots of folks in the restaurant including a big party and everyone was taken care of. Best service around.
Food and service were terrific! We stayed at the Best Western right across the street so it was quick and easy to eat there….but it was so good that I would have been glad to drive there had it been necessary! Wish we lived in Tacoma so we could come back soon.
Wonderful Mediterranean food. Bring an appetite when you come to Ammars. The food is excellent and you will want to eat beyond the point of being full. Its all made from scratch. My lentil soup was the best Ive ever tasted. My husband ordered moussaka. At a prior job, my husband traveled the US, so hes ordered a lot of Greek food. He said the moussaka at Ammars is some of the best hes tasted. We even ordered extra hummus to take back to the hotel. Everything we had was yummy! And the total bill was quite reasonable. Elena, our server, was a joy! We got to chat and joke with her. The whole experience at Ammars was AWESOME.
So glad we found Ammar’s. Had my birthday lunch there today. Everything was spotless. The service was great. The food was excellent. I had the gyro plate. The flavors complimented each other well. My husband had the moussaka and it was amazing. Food was nicely presented and came out quickly and fresh. A new favorite of ours.
Caesar Salad ohh my!. I’m officially ruined for every other Caesar Salad. The dressing is unique and the best I’ve ever tasted. Then add to it the grilled chicken and it’s over the top good. My only concern now is how am I going to eat salads any place else.Please bottle that dressing.
The food was excellent. However, they are apparently in the middle of redoing the menu or something. What we got was neither precisely what the menu stated nor what the server told us. This, coupled with agonizingly slow service, somewhat soured us on the restaurant. I don’t know if we will be back.
We were seated and forgotten, they finally brought us menus and warm water then the waitress never came back. We just got up and left. Very poor service
