I’ve been the bar manager here for almost 23 years. We have awesome food great atmosphere and friendly service! Recently remodeled with new windows and a great view of Tacoma’s other waterfront! Come see our sunsets and have one of the best burgers in town!!!’
Beach tav. We have been going to this tav for the last twenty years, until recently. In my opinion, the food, drinks, service and atmosphere WERE all excellent, BUT, they have all declined dramatically, to the point where it just sucked so bad that we couldn’t go back. The main reason is the bartenders’ attitude is rude, unprofessioinal, and unattentive. One of them was recently given time off for just this behavior. This is a place where the bartender doesn’t wait on you, but you wait on them. Beer selection has changed to all micro-brews, with only the standard two or three American lagers left , and if you want a mixed drink, you better tell them what’s in it. The buck always stops with the boss, but this guy either doesn’t know, or just doesn’t care. We are now frequenting tavs where you get served COLD beer in less than a minute. I tip for that.
Great Atmosphere. The food is wonderful, really great atmosphere. We have been ordering food from the Beach Tavern for over 15 years and have never been dissapointed. You have to try it before you can make a judgement. But take mine and my husbands word for it, you won’t be dissapointed. Thanks,Brad and Cindy
