This place is amazing! Don’t let the outside fool you, the food and daily homemade fresh bread is fantastic. Every dish that our group had was delicious. Definitely worth it.
They were fairly busy but there was only one waitress. She was doing her best but one would think dinnertime would be better covered. The food sucked. My companion had a trio. It was floating in oil and water. The tortellini were hard and dry. I had a penne dish with spicy sauce and olives. It was cooked correctly but had a funky stale taste. I would not recommend this place. I know I won’t return.
I came here twice in the past 2 weeks. The first time I came for lunch and there was no cook, so we had to leave. The second time, we were seated by an unfriendly host, then sat there for 20 mins without being helped. We watched others be seated and served, but we were ignored. We ended up leaving, AGAIN.
The best Italian food in Tacoma!! Very romantic atmosphere.
It was hard to find, and even when we did find it we had to figure out how to get inside. Note: What appears to be the back door to the kitchen is the entrance. The food is delicious and fresh! Best italian in Tacoma…?
