Generally we like their breakfasts and some of the dinners. Service has always been friendly. BUT stay away from the beef ribs when they are on their specials. VERY LITTLE MEAT ON THE BONE AND VERY TOUGH! Good beef ribs, like pork ribs, the meat should be tender and almost fall off the bone! NOT HERE ON THE BEEF RIBS! Pork ribs are just ok.
Don’t plan on using your passport card. I thought I would take my husband for dinner and use our passport card. He ordered a steak and had to send it back because it was over cooked. When it came time to pay the bill I was told they would not accept our card because his steak dinner was on the special board at 23.99. needless to say our 55.00 dinner was a bust. The owner is very crabby and rude. She makes up her own rules!!!
Nasty food, nastier staff. This place is a dump with incredibly rude staff. Caters to the eat dinner at 3:00 crowd.
Not Good to put it mildly. Took friends here on a Thursay afternoon. Service terrible. My husband and I both asked 3 times for vinegar for his liver and onions never got it. Refills were difficult to get on beverages. One of our friends got her salad after we asked for it when her sandwich arrived, Three of our four meals were overcooked and dry or visually burnt and still served. If you are in this area DON’T GO HERE….you will be sorry.
After I waited 30 minutes to get my food, had to ask each time I needed my coffee filled, and sent my eggs back, the food wasn’t half bad. The chicken fried steak was fair, not overly greasy. The hashbrowns warrent the same description as the CFS. I probably won’t get a craving to go back.
