Just bad!. The food was ok, nothing too crazy but pricey. You can make the same food in 5 minute for a lot less by going to Trader Joe’s. The service was very very bad, I have never seen anything like this. Their wine is served hot, not room temperature, hot, they leave the wine bottles on the fridge or near the stove, just awful. I am never going back there.
Loved it!. This evening my wife and I attended a private party at Cork! and had a fabulous time. The wine and Hors d’oeuvres were excellent as were the gracious and attentive staff. We can’t imagine a better venue if you have a celebration in mind for fifty people or so. If you have a birthday, anniversary or company party in mind, you will be remiss if you don’t consider Cork! Best Wine Bar in Tacoma!. Cork is my type of place. The atmosphere is intimate, low key, nice, clean, and spacious where I dont feel crowded. The staff is friendly, and energetic. The owner is always there and is passionate about customer service. Its also affordable, and you can learn alot about wine from just sitting at the bar and talking to Nick. Whats nice about Cork is that its comfortable even if you dont know ANYthing about wine… I dont know anything about wine, but I feel comfortable being there because they are not snobby, or stuck up about wine. It makes me want to learn!
Highly recommended. I highly recommend Cork Wine Bar to anyone who is interested in a true wine experience. This place has wine..and lots of it. Cork is much different from other places that claim to be a wine bar but are really a restaurant with a large wine list. Cork is my new favorite Tacoma stop and it is one not to be missed! I would recommend a cheese plate and one of the wines of the week if you are looking to save some money.
