Over the past year, this place has drastically changed its approach to its service. A great place to watch any soccer match, their servers now pay extra attention to guests old and new. Food is great and everyone who works there knows how to describe all their beverage offerings. Check this place out!
Staff is rude. I have spent a ton of money in Doyles. I mean thousands. Had a run in with a couple off duty staff on a Sunday night. The bar only had myself and two other patrons excluding the off duty bartenders. The three of us were having a conversation and it was a regular neighborhood friendly discussion. The off duty bartenders were rude and kept telling us to stop talking. Got up, didnt finish the beer and told them that we werent going to come back. They said they didnt care and another response was so what. I find that completely rude and wont be coming back. The owner needs to look at there staff.
I’ll be back!. I had the Shepard’s Pie, since it is a convenient way to compare pubs. It was very good, and the soda bread with currants was awesome, as are the jerk seasoned wings. I like this place because it feels more like a real pub and less like an Applebee’s with a few clovers on the walls, as you often find in this genre.
GoooooooooooooooooooooAL!. They always have English Premier League and MLS soccer games on whenever available, which is hard to come by in Tacoma. Their french dip is the best I think I’ve ever had, the cheesy british is delicious, and they always have imports on tap. Doyles will never charge a cover when bands are playing, which is usually a couple times per week. Love this place!
Went there because my maiden name is Doyle. I will go back because the bartender was an awesome chick and the French dip was the best I ever had.
Great Irish pub atmosphere. Russ knows how to run a great pub. This is the place for St Paddy’s Day in the South Sound. They also have Quizz Night on Wednesdays…lots of fun!
Great atmosphere. Very good hearty Irish food and drink, atmosphere and staff makes you want to come back.
