Decent food, fair prices. The only thing I would not recommend is the german pancakes. They lack in flavor and texture.
The biscuts and gravy are very good, but the hash browns have an odd taste(metal?). I have eaten there 5 times and the hash browns always have that odd taste. Beth’s cafe Kelly’s kafe have great taters:-)
Breakfast @ Elmer’s Tacoma, WA. My husband & I had a late breakfast – extremely famished! Elmer’s did not let us down. He chose the Sarurday Market skillet & I chose the Garden Vegetable skillet. They were both delicious and the perfect size! The zucchini in my skillet was still crisp as was my husband’s bacon in his. The last time we had skillets like these were in Alaska. I had to try the rhubarb crumble & again was not disappointed! The topping was crunchy, the rhubarb soft & succulent – the winning point was the crumble was not sugary – just right!! And we both love & appreciate that they use local ingredients – we choose to support our local community!!
Good food. I have eaten here a couple of times. The last thing I ordered there was the Elmer’s omelette. It was really good but my only gripe is the portions are not big enough. I was still hungry and could of easily eaten two. I don’t eat that much. I remember getting huge fluffy 3 egg omelletes that take up half the plate at restaruants once upon a time. I think you still can at Muckelshoot casino’s family restaraunt but who knows if they are still good I havent been there in a couple of years..
Generous and delicious and don’t forget the Dutch babies! Incredible, moist yet crunchy on the edges -perfect!
