The Fish House Caf is a local Tacoma favorite that sells great fried seafood. It’s apart of the Hilltop area; they are fast and reasonably priced. It is always busy, there isn’t much seating and no extended hours (they close at 6 PM because Im sure they are tired after working 6 days a week). They are closed Sundays. Its best to call in your order or be prepared for a short wait. The food is fantastic.

Delicious, Generous, Amazing!. I went there today with two guys from work and we all got Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches because I’d heard this place had really good ones. That turned out to be an understatement! All three of us agreed that these sandwiches were AMAZING! The sandwich was a GENEROUS helping of food and the fries were good, too. The Philly Cheese Steaks truly were DELICIOUS. The whole time we were there, I was tempted to get a fish plate, but had no room left for it this trip. I will definitely be back! The only thing that was a little tough is that the place obviously smells like fry batter and grease, and it’s pretty strong, so plan to get it to go if that bothers you or you don’t wanna smell like fry grease for the rest of the day. LOL! The prices are very reasonable and service was good too. I highly recommend this restaurant! Comments about the neighborhood are true, so go during the day if you are concerned. We had no problems at all. You owe it to yourself to try it. 🙂

Come on in. The mantra lives on…. you want great food, find a dive!There’s no flash, no glitz, and parking is difficult. The menu is simple, but it’s perfected! Best Fish and fries on the west coast, and some fine smooth jazz to make your day a little more relaxing! Enjoy!
I will be hitting up this spot 4sho! Good food great price.
