Decent Japanese food with diverse choices. I liked their maki sushi and also ramen noodle. The noodle is not as firm as I wanted it to be. But soup base was good and toppings were generous. Their service was excellent as well.

went there with a group of friend the other day. WORST PLACE EVER!!! save your money and never eat there. the food was horrible and the service was very bad. the chicken was hard and over cooked and the rice was under cooked. the waiteress was very slow to wait on us, she mixed up our order and ever brought one of my friends the wrong food and to top it all off the place was full of flies that kept buzzing around us.

SUPERB in every way. Great view, and it just gets better from there. High-quality, fresh food is prepared with reverence and style. Service is quick, professional, and cordial. LOTS of imaginative choices, from the traditional to the fanciful. *****!

Meh. This place is a Japanese restaurant for people who don’t know anything about Japanese food except maybe teriyaki. It’s obviously making its money from the bar, not from the food: The noise level of the pop music is so high you can barely hear your own conversation. The food is underspiced and underwhelming. Sukiyaki lacked seasoning of any kind, and, oddly, also lacked mushrooms and scallions. Basically, it was rather poor quality beef in a flat, useless sauce with some tasteless noodles. The sushi was of very dubious quality, and poorly cut, with little wasabi or gari.

A time limit and harping on me about eating all of the rice (which there was too much if per portion) before I could get more sushi! Was like the soup nazi on Seinfeld

Just asked if it is a new chef ( comment below re chef retiring) and he is still here and he is not going anywhere!29 Sep, 2010Fabulous place, 26 year history, great staff and even offer free plates of sushi or other food courtesy of the chef! Reasonable prices – I paid only $22 for a big sashimi platter, soup, salad, salmon handroll and got a tunabelly handroll from the chef!

They always remember me. They bring in fresh food.
