Like being back in Tokyo. I love this place. Great service, wonderful atmosphere (very kawaii) and the food! Oh my goodness, the food. Everything I’ve had so far is simple but excellent, and the yakisoba is the first I’ve had in America that tasted the way it ought to instead of being a giant mass of grease. Try eating here – it won’t disappoint you.

Not the same Joy. I used to LOVE this place. Every time I come to Tacoma I make sure I eat at this place. But the last two times have been very gross. It’s almost like they changed the way they cook things and now its like store bought gross teriyaki and not what they used to do. Everything used to be light and yummy and now its thick and heavy.
Great Teriyaki!. This restaurant has a mom and pop feel to it and serves up some very delicious dishes. I love to call in and order take out. Everything is always made to order which is not always the case when you are ordering teriyaki. The spicy Chicken dish is great and so are the gyozas. I also like that I am supporting a small business by eating here.
