I love their doughnuts with a different theme for each holiday. I think it is a great place to go get some delicious doughnuts. One of my favorite parts is that you can pick out any doughnut you want!
Okay, I’m a sucker for this place. I fell in love with this joint while living in the Midwest. They use to provide you with a warm original that would melt in your mouth and wanting more of them. Plus the kids use to love watching the doughnuts being made. I’d also be mesmerized looking at the long line of goodies being submerged onto the ocean of perfectly heated oil. I realize there are many amazing places for doughnuts but for me, this is perfect. Yum!
All my experiences here have been good. Sometimes the workers can seem stressed, for the most part they are very friendly. The donuts are always good and if the sign is on then I am there. They offer a military discount! I only wish there was one closer to me.
Krispie Kreme Doughnuts, it’s entertaining. I do not like to do reviews on chains, but I can bend my own guidelines from time to time. Krispie Kreme Doughnuts are fluffy and best served warm, but the thing that makes it a fun family experience is watching the process from proofing the doughnuts and watching them get cooked, flipped and iced in a mechanical manner. It vaguely reminds me of a one of those ‘how things are made’ shows you would see on the learning channel or on an old episode of sesame street. It entertains my little girl and she is excited about the end result, so I give them a thumbs up. Teresa Potter
Original donuts are the best !!. Others are good too, but you can never go wrong with an original krispy creme. I they to male an effort to get a donut when I’m in town from college but they are just as good as VooDoo donuts (located in Portland and Eugene, OR)
Lost It’s Touch. Krispy Kreme’s gimick was fresh hot donuts. They weren’t the best but watching them make them in front of you and eating them as they melted in your hands was delicious. Now they make boxes at a time and you get who knows when made donuts when you order. Not very good. I think they should of stayed in Texas.
