Fabulous for a quick lunch. This is the best place in downtown Tacoma to go for a quick lunch. The soups are fresh and rotated daily; I love the Italian wedding soup, and the clam chowder has vegetables and herbs that make it more than just a heavy cream and clam glop. The green salad with orange slices, cranberries and raspberry dressing is one of my favorite things in the world. But the smell of her rolls baking is really the main reason I find myself walking in her direction at lunch time. They are the best rolls in town and I always order an extra one as a little treat to myself.I would note however that this is not a full service restaurant, nor is it a large menu. This is really a cafe; a few choices, served to go style, but made in house, with quality ingredients.
