Best grocery store in Tacoma !!. My family has shopped at The Met for years and it continues to be the best grocery and little cafe in Tacoma. It offers a salad, soup, hot dishes, cold sandwiches, coffee and fresh gelato for a quick on the go meal and it definitely isn’t Safeway. It is more gourmet and the prices are about the same as if you shopped at other places, but their produce amd meats are unbeatable !! I live and go to school in Oregon, and it is the equivalent as the World Market or Market of Choice.
Love the Met!. The Met is a pricey grocery store with some great food as well. They have all sorts of expensive cheeses, a wide variety of deserts, delicious sandwiches and great hot soups.You go here to indulge a little bit and enjoy some good food. Definitely not cheap.
