A 4.9 rating with over 1100 reviews…unheard of. How could wepass thisplace up. It turned out to be an exceptional deli experience. The unconventional Reuben on dark rye was a show-stopper.The subtle taste of kraut paired with the tomato, lettuce, and Swiss cheese perfectly balanced the melt-in-your-mouth tender corned beef. Sandwich heaven !!! The East Coast Style Italian Cold Cut sandwich was packed with fresh ingredients, and my son’s Gryo and Chili combo wasgood (but please don’t pass up the sandwich options for an average gyro). This place was madhouse busy and the wait can be long, so call ahead and your order will be waiting for you. Limited seating…3 tables that seat4 people each, so most of the dozens, yes dozens, of sandwiches we watched flyby were take-out. I believe the legendary rating is the result of generous portions, fresh high qualityingredients, and more then reasonable prices.After eating and paying the bill, it sinks in.THIS PLACE IS GREAT.

If you’re looking for a good atmosphere to dine in or in a hurry to get a sandwich to go, this is not the place. What you get instead is delicious sandwiches in fairly generous portion at good price. I don’t quite agree with legendary rating though.
l have been twice. The first time they told me they were out of food and weren’t serving sandwiches. The second time they told me it would be over an hour before I could get a sandwich so I left. Maybe someday I’ll have the time to wait or they’ll have food available to sell.
The locals seem to like this deli. The deli sandwiches are excellent and the price is very reasonable. Perhaps the management could charge a little more and use the money to hire cleaning staff who can see the layers of dirt and grease which cover almost every surface.
Great Ruben sandwich! Long lines, worth the wait. I think that if they had more cooks, they’d just have longer lines. Dinner or lunch, their sandwiches are magical!
