This tiny and spotlessly clean hidden gem has The Best Sandwiches in Tacoma! Others try to lay their claim, but Nuckle’s is better than any. Their menu is completely solid, with all of the traditionals that you’re looking for. No odd ingredients or flavors, just well prepared and delicious sandwiches, made and served by friendly and efficient staff members.We have been there twice at lunch time, and had their lunch specials. There are 3 choices of specials, each for $5.95. #1 – Half sandwich, side, & drink. #2 – Cup of fresh made soup & cold cut sandwich. #3 – Cup of soup and garden salad. I had the #1 with the Nuckle Deluxe Cold Cut sandwich, cole slaw, and a can of Pepsi (They have Coke, too). My wife had the #1 with the Hot Pastrami sandwich, fries, and a Dr. Pepper. The half sandwiches are LARGE and plenty of food for any normal human. I love cole slaw and theirs is really good, and I’m pretty sure it’s made on premises.Take a look at their menu, then head over for a great sandwich.
