I was driving with several work colleagues on our way down to Mt. Rainier National Park, and we stopped by this place in the evening for dinner. The restaurant seems to be quite popular, and there were a good number of patrons, so we got seated at the bar. I got their Braised Beef Short Ribs (details below). While I enjoyed the dish, I didn’t think that it was anything spectacular, and I found their price to be a bit high. While the service was friendly and attentive, they did mess up one of my colleague’s orders (he ordered lamb chops and they got him pork chop instead). All in all, I wasn’t exactly impressed by the restaurant, and I don’t know if I’d recommend it for anyone who’s near the area.Braised Beef Short Ribs ($28):3/5This consisted of a piece of short rib that was served over a bed of polenta with some tomatoes. The portion of short rib wasn’t exactly big, but it was sufficient. It was very tender and juicy, but quite underseasoned and not very flavourful. I actually enjoyed the polenta more, which was creamy, buttery and rich.

I always enjoy this place. The food is really inspired and is the reason to dine here. Wines are good but not a good value. The service is always good: personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The ambiance is pleasant: local artists’ work and acoustics that make the place seem lively but not so loud you can’t have a conversation. In warm weather the restaurant is open to the streets outside for a really nice urban vibe.

Friendly staff and great food. Like the layout. nice bar area for solo eaters. chef’s table to watch the cooking. opening the garage doors gives it an open air feel. Bruchetta with Bruschetta with heirloom tomatoes and homemade bread was fabulous, as was the house made fettucine, smoked salmon, and lemon asparagus cream sauce. Good wine selection with many WA wines. parking is limited, so car pool.

Consistently amazing!. I’ve never been disappointed when dining at Primo. It’s nice to have a Seattle quality restaurant local. The last time we had the polenta appetizer…I can’t say enough good about it! Our table ordered a second after the first was gone! Charlie’s Sidecar is always a winner & they have a great wine selection. Keep the good food coming!
