Nothing interesting here. I had recently moved to Tacoma, and was looking for a pleasant lunch place, when I tried the Rosewood Caf. It had good reviews, and was evidently well known for its sandwiches and soups.I found the food dull, and the service perfunctory– Nothing to bring me back, and I haven’t been back.

Didn’t live up to the hype & the service left a bad taste in my mouth! Really bummed because I love going to Proctor, unfortunately I won’t be going back to Rosewood Cafe!!

Loved this little cafe. Nice neighborhood location close to the UPS campus. Great soups and sandwiches! Looking forward to trying dinner menu. Great service, too. We’ll be back again!

My husband and I love this place so much we go almost every weekend. Soups are great but the smokey bacon blue salad (add chicken) is AMAZING! We never feel gross, like we eat unhealthy/too much, when we eat here.

    Ciabatta Club. Very good sandwich.

Great soup. This a wonderful small cafe. The owners are great people. The homemade soups a excellent. The menu is limited, but there are always daily specials. Service is sometimes spotty since the staff turns over more than I would like. Good wines and beer. Sometimes, lunchtime specially, there can be too many noisy children, but it is a family friendly neighborhood cafe.

Won’t go back…. The food was pretty good, but the service ruined the experience for me and I won’t go back. Being more or less forgotten about when the restaurant is otherwise fairly empty is unacceptable.
