Had dined there in December 2014 for a special occasion. Had reserved a window seat, and did get it, but there was an extra wait to accommodate that request. My companion had ordered the menu standard New York steak (med rare), while I had a seared duck special, and we shared the artichoke dip appetizer. The appetizer came out relatively quick (about 10 min) and it was appropriately smooth and tasty. Our main courses, however, took closer to an additional half hour to get to us. While my duck dish was prepared nicely, his steak was cooked very poorly. It didn’t appear to have been seared properly, causing it to be mushy, and most of the steak was closer to blue than even rare. Being that this is a restaurant priding itself on it’s steaks, that what he ordered was so poorly executed pretty much collapsed what was already a service heading downhill. I don’t fault the server who was trying her best to keep the mood up, but clearly the kitchen had some weak links in the fold. In light of what they charge, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. Not likely that I will return here.
