  Great music. I love the Stonegate fpr the wide variety and FREQUENCY of music, jams, and high quality musicians that show up to play. The musicians walk back and forth between Stonegate and Dawson’s playing both clubs so you really get to see a lot of talent. Yes, sometimes the rocking guys get twice as loud as they should be, but I love Billy Stoops, Rafael Tranquilino, Linda Myers and all the fabulous players. In reference to the food posts… Peanut butter bacon pizza is heavenly, but I have found it to be more of a music venue than restaurant on the bar side, which means I take it into my own hands and walk up to the bar to order food. Works much better. Also love the dcor of that place! Metalwork is awesome.

  Ridiculous. Went to see a friend play there. Thank God I had earplugs in my purse. It was soo loud in there. Waited an hour for an appetizer only to be told that our order hadn’t been put in, another half hour and we told the dippy bartender we were leaving. I didn’t see anyone with food on their table.

  WTF??. Went to Stonegate tonight. Great music. One warning though. Bring your own food. I was there for 2 hours and wasn’t even acknowledged by the staff. I was wearing a shirt and shoes, pants too. Why couldn’t I get served? Is my money not good enough?
