Comfortable and Good. Had lunch at the Hub today and split a pizza special (goat cheese, spinach) and salad. Both were very well prepared with fresh ingredients and very good service. Although the room is very large which doesn’t give it a cozy feel, it was very comfortable and seems like a great place to come for a happy hour or rainy weekend afternoon. A nice alternative to the Tacoma downtown.
The food was great, but the service was poor. Our waitress seemed to forget our table, and a whole other group actually complained about the service and walked out! I might return for happy hour pizza, but never again for Sunday brunch….or ANY day brunch.
Went for late lunch. Nearly empty but still slow. Eggplant parm skimpy on the eggplant, could have been fried anything. Sweet potato fries tired and greasy. This place is so good. I am always hesitant to order Mac’n cheese at a restaurant cause so many places don’t do it well, but was amazing. A little more on the creamy side than I expected and I got bacon via the waitresses recommendation. This macaroni was the taste experience equivalent of snuggling a baby seal. Home fries were also very good and the meal was decently priced.
Great happy hour specials. Good pizzas, love their steak salad. Can get pretty loud at times, but great for a group.
Consistent. We’ve eaten here a bunch of times and are always satisfied. They have great food and drink specials and the service has never been bad. Fantastic meatballs! After having tried quite a few things on both the breakfast and dinner menus, this place rates pretty high on my Tacoma pubs list. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s a local brewer!
Like it!. Love the food. Great breakfast specials and the pizzas are always good. Service is always slow/horrible so come when you have plenty of time. Good beer selection while you wait!
