Eeew, their food was very dry, the tortillas were tough, they used chorizo and tried passing it off as tacos al pastor and hardly any meat. I will say their flautas were, well decent but your only option was chicken…BUT I will never return or recommend this place and I’ve been asked by foodies that I know I tell them don’t bother YUCK 🙁 and p.s. I am 100% Mexican so I do know authentic delicious food & its definitely NOT Tortas Locas.
Mexico City DF Style Tortas. Tortas Locas brings Districto Federal style sandwiches to Tacoma – I love them! The style difference here is they deep fry the meat on the tortas, totally decadent. Even more over the top: you can get a hot dog put on your torta! The large menu includes other items such as quesadillas for the kids.

Food is terrible.Went there a second time to give them a chance but yukOwner is so unfriendly, tried to tell him there was amost no meant in the sandwich just potatoes and you can tell he could care less.The bread is terrible and that red sauce they toast it with makes it all sticky.Expenisve for what you get quantity maybe (an oly bread /potato not of the better stuff) but quality definitely notDefinitley will not go back.So many good taco trucks around
