Always head in for a mocha, they have a lot of varieties to choose from. Lavender rosemary is tasty, the other options are too. Pastries are fresh in the morning, not so much in the afternoon.
This place doesn’t even get one star!!! So we were in town for a pageant for my daughter. On Thursday night, 6/30/2015, we saw True North Coffee House so we stopped by. First thing my daughter, who is 7, noticed there was a bunch of fruit flies flying in there pastry cabinet. My daughter ended up not wanting to eat anything at this place. My son ended up getting something though. We sat down to eat and then my 3 year old son was getting bored so he decided to play around a bit with the chair and hanging on the metal bars. The guy, who was working who I believe could have been the owner, kept yelling at me telling me that I need to keep my kids seated and that they couldn’t play around. I apologize and asked my kids to sit. A couple mins later my son started playing again. The guy yelled again about it. I apologize once more and we started to leave. I told the guy once more I was sorry. Then the guy started tripping about now he had to stay 30 minutes later to clean up after my son, all my son did was move the chairs around… not something that would take 30 minutes. .. that and seriously it was a quick fix. He was being a rude, inconsiderate jerk. Also there was no one else in the restaurant while this was happening so my son was not imbarressing anyone. This place is a disgrace and very unprofessional. That and a health department violation!!!
