I got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich meal to go. The bun underneath was soggy but that’s what you get when you order out. The Pork was a little salty but tolerable. I couldn’t eat much more after putting sauce on it as the sauce is really salty. I love sauce so I wish this wasn’t the case. The greens are good, the yams are AMAZING!! I plan on ordering them on their own, they are so good. The portion size is large. Prices are reasonable. Now I say all this to say I’m about to go back tonight lol
Lots of construction going on, so parking & getting in was interesting, but so worth it. My husband & I went for an Indivisible Tacoma social-they always try to support minority owned businesses & we loved this one. Thurm & his wife Linda were just delightful~cheerful, smiling , joking, & friendly. We are vegetarians which is sometimes a challenge in many restaurants but Linda helped us choose from a lot of side dishes they had (yams, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, potato salad, cornbread, rice & beans).
