We love to stop at Dad’s when we travel to or from Bend. It is perfectly placed for lunch. The burgers are greasy and big. I got a chocolate shake, and it was great. I like that they have tater tots, though I think their tots and fries are both fried from frozen.

My husband and I are staying at a hotel nearby and swung through the drive-up window. Slight wait for our order, but it was delicious! I ordered the Mozza burger and fries. Portions were HUGE, food was fantastic. Great bacon and crinkle fries. Definitely the best option in the area.
There aren’t enough places like this!. There should be more burger joints like this! The cheeseburger is exactly what you are craving and they have tater tots! And let’s not forget the milkshakes!! I was visiting from out of town and had lunch 2 days in a row here. Loved it!
Great Breakfast. Always eat where the locals eat and you will find great food. Service was friendly, quick, and most importantly the food was tasty. Bacon crisp, big pancakes, and the chicken fried stake done right.Can’t go wrong here.
Suprised no one else has commented…. Dad’s is a restaurant I carve when I pass thru the Yakima Valley. It is worth the short trip off the interstate thru downtown Toppenish to get here.The restaurant was a Former A&W. I like A&W, but I LOVE Dad’s. Food is great, restaurant is clean, and the fries are wonderful!
