Super good BBQ. Excellent service. The rib tip appetizer is off the hook. I would steer clear of the nachos were pretty crappy, but when we told them they happily switched out our appetizer. Hot link rules. Great corn bread. Beans are tasty. Variety of sauces. Yum.
I am from Texas where bar be que reins supreme. But, I must admit, this place has the best bar be que that I have ever had. I had the Texas Beef Brisket plate and it was melt in your mouth goodness. I normally don’t like coleslaw but I tried my husbands and couldn’t get enough! I cant wait to go back for more! My new #1 favorite place.
Good but slow. I’ve eaten at Famous Dave’s in other states, but this was my first visit here. The good: the BBQ was tasty which is saying something since our group had a native Texan and 2 people who had lived in Texas for a combined total of 10 years. Also, the waiter was attentive and personable. The bad: the kitchen was very slow (30 minutes) which is crazy considering the entrees just have to be pulled from smoker/warmer and sliced, and the sides just need to be scooped. BBQ should take less than 5 minutes to come out of a well run BBQ restaurant. Also, I never experienced the slowness at Famous Dave’s in other states.
Picked up a friend at the airport and ate dinner here first. Portion size great. Beef brisket excellent. Service magnificent. Time from order to food on the table perhaps the worst quality of the restaurant maybe 30 minutes. Outside BBQ on a sunny evening.
A life-changing experience!. We were driving around looking for a place to eat. We had decided to go to Applebee’s but drove by Famous Dave’s and decided to give it a shot. We are SOOOOO glad we did! The blue cheese burger was amazing, and the brisket truly life-changing. The variety of sauces was refreshing, and every one of them delicious. Our service was great, and the manager even gave us a free bottle of sauce to take with us! A must stop! We will definitely be returning, and will have them cater our upcoming wedding!
Good food. Take a white friend to get good service. otherwise, you won’t see your server more than twice. that includes taking your order and leaving the check.01 Jun, 2011Awesomely delicious. Roasted chicken, ribs, bbq beans, brisket, and cornbread muffins= delicioso (sp?)i’d skip on the mac n’cheese (lacks flavor) and corn on the cob (over-cooked). overall, i would definitely recommend this place.
Excellent service. However, food was o.k. not much food for the money and the flavor was kind of bland. The variety of sauces were nice to have. Ill give it a second chance and order something else.
