They are only open for lunch. This is my go-to restaurant when I travel for business to Tukwila. It’s indescribably savory always. I had mushroom ravioli in a mushroom marsala sauce and it was wonderful. Enough for my dinner too.
Stopped in on a whim with my friend for lunch. Wonderfully sweet young lady working the counter was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended several of her favorites when asked. I ordered the special of the day which was the firecracker chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the spaghetti and meatball platter. A short 15 minutes later we were elbow deep in goodness. My sandwich/salad combo was wonderful and filling. A thick sandwich with plenty of chicken, avocado, aoli and jalapeos was exactly what I needed on an overcast humdrum day. Our gal at the counter came over to check on us and refill our drinks plenty of times. And while no one was there when we first arrived a steady lunch crowd began showing up shortly afterwards. Creamygoodness…. Most satisfying meal I have had visiting the Seattle area in years. Great menu options. The whole meal experience was well done from the timing between app-entree’-dessert, to exceptionally attentive service. Our server presented herself professionally and answered every question with a knowledge you would want all servers to have. I won’t (I should) gush about each and every item ordered, but I will tell you that I had a bite of everything–and it was all gooooood. Wife and I were having those silent, smiling and nodding at each other moments the whole time. Was everything scratch made? Probably not, but that was no matter to our experience. So glad to find a place that is a solid winner when I am looking for Italian comfort and staying in the Tukwila area…
