In the land of the $15 minimum wage, you now order via a tablet at the table. Runners bring what is ordered. A waitress choreographs. How much do you tip a machine? Food came out of order (or not at all).Very good petite filets, exceptional seered ahi. Chain food salad.

Things have changed, for the worse. As a frequent flyer, Outback has been a reliable option for me when I’m looking for a steak or a burger. Last night, I was very disappointed in the quality and size of the burger and fries. Most establishments sell a half-pound burger, which is what Outback has done historically. The manager explained that, due to the cost of beef, they reduced the burgers to 7 oz. But there is no way that my burger was close to 7 oz. At best, it was 4 or 5 oz, the size of a McDonald’s quarter pounder. The fries, which normally have a nice hand cut texture to them, were stale and hard. Neither the bar tender nor the manager offered any apology. I’m not sure if the problems are local to this particular restaurant, or endemic to the entire chain. But I doubt I’ll go to an Outback ever again. And that’s a shame, since I’ve been a regular customer since the late 1980s.

Horrible food. Service was good, waitress was very attentive, food was horrible. Visiting and chose this place, never coming back there again, food tasted horrible, waste of good money!!!

This is the only outback that I’ve been to that doesn’t offer a free blooming onion for military. Disappointed they don’t support the troops.

  • I Love Food

We went to the bar at a late hour for many drinks and food. The burger was cooked just as I ordered it,(medium rare), and the service was excellent. I have never had a bad meal at any of their locations. My friends had the blooming onion and steaks. All delicious. The cocktails were also very good.

Great for an Easy, No Frills Meal. I have a couple of chains I like to visit whenever I’m in the mood for simple, good food and this restaurant is one. The service here is friendly and the food is always good. The dessert with the ball of vanilla ice cream rolled in toasted coconut is a guilty treat and I could stop in just for one of these. Nice neighborhood restaurant.
