Bad Reviews? I really don’t get it.. I love this place. When I fly in and out of SEA, it is ALWAYS on my hit list. I love the classic American breakfast food here – and they give you plenty of it. Pancakes, eggs, BEST Bacon I have ever had, good Coffee and decent Crepes if you are into the. This is the CLASSIC 1950’s-60’s Breakfast Diner Pancake house place. If you are expecting a five star place, this is not for you. If you like great breakfast food at a reasonable price, then I say try it. THEN make up your mind if you would ever come back. I have been dropping in since 2010. I’m happy to have it so close and convenient to SEATAC.
Casual breakfast at anytime!. This joint feels like an old-school diner. The staff were all friendly, quick and attentive. The german pancake, Swedish crepes, eggs benedict and hash browns were all very good hey. It was slightly expensive for the location, but I’ll be honest, I didn’t….fine…COULDN’T…. finish it all. It was very filling. Also, their bathroom was extremely clean… (I know….)Bottom line – great breakfast joint with good service and nice people. I’d go again.
Time machine.. This place was great. service was good & the crepes were even better. Wish more places were like this. It’s not upscale but it’s breakfast (anytime). I’ll be again and it will most likely be pretty soon.
Fresh and tasty! Well worth the trip!
Limp and over priced. Had the bacon and eggs with hashbrowns and english muffin Bacon was cold and limp. I think most people prefer crispy bacon. Hashbrowns were hashwhites. Muffin barely toasted. Eggs on the snotty side. Over priced for the atmosphere. Will not return
Wow. So Bad. If you like breakfast food, don’t go here.. I don’t understand how this place has such a good rating. The food here is terrible. I ordered the Chicken fried steak breakfast. The steak was bland, the coating on it was soggy like it had been microwaved rather than fried. the gravy was flat out disgusting. The eggs I ordered over-medium and got barely over easy. The pancakes were passable, but if I’d ordered just pancakes, I’d be much less blas about them. My wife ordered the Corned Beef Hash and it tasted like little bits of paper and posterboard under runny eggs. There was no flavor. None. The only way I can see this as having such a high review is if everyone who go here only goes for retro feel and mediocre art on the walls. Or, if they’d lost their tastebuds in a horrible hashbrown accident when they were kids.
A great classic kind of place for an excellent homestyle breakfast. Pancakes and a whole lot more! The waitstaff is always charming and very nice. Special orders are no sweat! I personally always choose the buckwheat batter for whichever of the wide variety of pancakes that I choose to have when I go.
