I walk here often from my house in the neighborhood. The best eggs benedict I have ever had. My teenager comes here after school for free wi-fi and a big plate of fries or mac and cheese. Excellent comfort food, huge portions and different specials nightly. Thursday nights are two for one hamburgers, I switch out my fries for greens and ask for no bun while my daughters gets the unedited version. Yummy burgers and you can’t beat the price. I am just bummed that they are no longer a secret. Sarah the lady that runs it, is famous for her margaritas and lattes.
Nothing bad to say. i am a frequent flier here, my roommates and I go nearly every weekend. It’s always slightly busy, but the food is amazing (portions are giant) and the service is great. There’s parking available and it won’t break the bank.GO HERE.
Nice Neighborhood Breakfast. My weekend drives from Eastlake to the Magnuson Dog Park takes me past this corner bakery and eatery where I often see a crowded, or even overflowing, weekend brunch crowd. Leaving the dog at home we stopped by this morning and I had a delicious California scramble and latte. I have, among many idiosyncrasies, an aversion to white potatoes as they are often prepared with little thought functioning as ‘filler’–taking up space on your plate and in your stomach at little expense to the restaurant. Forgetting to tell the server to ‘hold them’ I found myself eye-to-eye with roasted potatoes on my plate; however, the skin had fallen off one of the smaller pieces so I tasted it. I was delighted and surprised and proceeded to eat all the potato skins, which were out-of-this-world-good (and even ate a few potatoes)! The service was good although there’s opportunity for improvement–and if you live nearby you’re lucky as this is a fine place to enjoy a relaxed brunch with a neighborhood feel.
