Visited here in a large group. We ordered a lot of stuff. Starters we had veg bhajji, which was okay. For main course we had paneer butter masala, baigan bharta, bhindi, chole paneer, veg vindaloo (mix veg), etc. The best among them was panner butter masala. Chole was too bland, and baigan bharta was too oily. Veg Vindaloo tasted average. Mango lassi was great (as drink and as desert)! Overall a nice place to visit, and accommodates big groups really well.
Have you had those moments in life where you think really hard about something you want, and miraculously you manifest your destiny? This moment happened to me the other day when I was starving at my work desk and closed my eyes, and in my brain universe, I was a glutenous pig over Indian food. Next thing you know this white knight carrying a platter of buttered chicken and basmati rice, waltzes through the door and I could’ve sworn there was a dramatic breeze as well. Anyway Moe, owner and operator of one of the best Indian/Mediterranean restaurants in Seattle you are a life savor! and I really haven’t stopped thinking or talking about your food. The great thing is Cedars has multiple locations and they all deliver (I’m lazy). Stop into either of their locations and I promise you, you’ll never be the same. mounivong.blogspot.com
Best Indian in Seattle!. This was my first Indian food in SEA and I love this place – it is consistent, has amazing Naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, rice (I know it is hard to mess up rice, but it is also hard to get it right). They get busy during lunch and dinner and it isn’t the kind of place you can linger after your meal but I love that every time I come here I have amazing Indian food – without fail. If you go to Cedars you won’t regret it!
Great food, lousy service. Food is great but service not so great. This is the only place where they will serve you the naan and curry even before giving you the dinner plates. We went twice and both times they served the naan first, then after few mins the curry and after asking multiple times, finally then serve you the dinner plates. By then the food is getting cold.
Great food one of my favorite Indian spots. Sometimes the service is mediocre and when they are close to closing you definitely feel unwanted. They vacuumed all around my table, dust flying everywhere, so close I thought they would ask me and my date to lift our legs so they could get under the table lol. That’s not cool but the food is great portions are OK.
Soooo goood! Lamb rogan josh was incredible and lamb tikka.masala also top notch. Lamb was falling apart tender and spiced to perfection.
Delicious, a bit pricey but you get lots of food 🙂
