The wait was long to get in, despite the fact that this was in the middle of a Sunday afternoon. However, it was most definitely worth it! This restaurant has the highest standards when it comes to dumplings of all sorts. String beans in garlic, rice cakes with pork, noodles in sesame sauce–all great. If you are into dim sum type cuisine, visiting this restaurant is a must. Service is also very good, and prices are reasonable.
We eat here as often as we can. Everyone in the family loves it. The xiao long bao are amazing. All of the vegetables are wonderful. If you dont fill up on dumplings the noodle dishes are also great.
Just an amazing experience. First time with soup dumplings and the food was amazing. The garlic green beans were amazing as well. This is currently my favorite resto.
A little on the salty side, but all in all, a delicious experience 🙂 Ambience was lively but spacious enough to catch up with friends. Waiters were a on the slow side at times, but very friendly.
Wow. First time having food at DTF. We had the Xiao long bao, and a few other dishes whose names I forget. My bad. The food was excellent. All the dishes were served promptly and on time and there was no wait for the seating either. It’s usually very crowded in the evenings and so an afternoon visit is recommended.
Sesame bun dumpling is a good desertSpicy chicken wonton was goodVeg fried rice is okChoice of noodles could have been better Ambience was good
It was my second time having food in this restaurant. First time hadDIN TAI FUNG, was 4 years ago. Since it was super late night, I could still remember that we spent 1 hour to only order Pork & CrabXiaoLongBaos. They were awesome and Tasty. For this reason, my friend and I went back to DIN TAI FUNGin 2016 spring when we were traveling in the University of Washington. We went to the restaurant in the late afternoon about 3 or 4 pm before the dinner time. Luckily, we didn’t wait for so long to get in. We ordered more than food this time. We hadNoodle Soup with Pickled Mustard Greens & Shredded Pork, Pork & CrabXiaoLongBaos, Hot & Sour Soup, and Seaweed & Beancurd In a Vinegar Dressing. All the food were tasty, but my favorite food is stillPork & CrabXiaoLongBaos. I love the juicy. Other food was decent. The hot&Sour Soup was a little bit from my expectations. It’s not so hot. About the price, this restaurant is a little bit expensive with a small portion of the food.Other than that everything was great. All in all, if you go to Seattle or visit the University of Washington, you should definitely go to DIN TAI FUNG. You not only can eat awesome Chinese food there, but you also can get an opportunity to see how they hand make the dumplings and XiaoLongBaos in the windows. food.belindajin.com
