We don’t go to downtown Seattle very often due to the horrible traffic but happened to be in the area so thought we’d try the downtown location. Located on the second floor of a corner building, the view is typical of any downtown location. The menu the same as the others, the service about par and the interior decor the same, too. We ordered 2 orders of Long Bao ($12.75), Garlic Green Beans ($11.50), both our favorites, an order of Pork Buns ($5.75) and a large Tsingtoa Beer ($11). We enjoyed our meal but didn’t feel as comfortable at this location as we do at the U Village location. Maybe it was the time of day or just the atmosphere and layout of this location. Not sure. We’ll stick with the U Village location as our primary Din Tai Fung go to place.
