Kinda gross…. I feel bad, I just changed my like to a dislike and EJ Burger dropped 2%… THE POWER!!!!!!Every time I go here, the bread on my burger immediately gets squishy, falls apart, and then everything just becomes a greasy mess. So gross… 🙁 🙁 I just want to eat a tasty burger. I don’t have this problem anywhere else. I think they must use super cheap buns or something…. and they need to drain the patties or something after making them. I HATE SOGGY BURGERS.
Best Burger on the Ave. I’m a vegetarian, so I judge a burger place based on two things: the veggie burger and the fries. E.J.’s gardenburger is extremely tasty, and the unique house sauce and the grilled buns set it apart from the other burger places in the area. Those two things also mean that all of the various non-veggie burgers are certainly terrific as well, and I have seen them hand-shaping the substantial beef patties. The fries are similar to McDonald’s in general size and shape, but they are fresh and delicious, and you get a mound alongside any burger. The guys running the place are efficient and polite, and the atmosphere is clean, bright, and welcoming. During one of my meals here, the guy that handed me my burger said that they were low on fries for the moment, but that I could come back up and get more whenever. The amount of fries that I initially received were totally acceptable, but when I came back for more, he ended up giving me nearly a full helping more. Nice people that value their customers. I have eaten here more times than is probably reasonable over the last couple months, and I realize that I happen to enjoy the place more than the average person might, but the people I have taken with me have also enjoyed the food, so for anyone that enjoys burgers, I recommend.
Best Burgers. Fave burger place on the ave. Their burgers are tasty but their house sauce makes them 10x better. I always make it a combo cuz their fries are so good.
